Hey team,
Stoked to dive in this week. It really feels like all the things are coming together across the tech side and the comms side. One story, One SDK, One Litepaper, one way to think about the future of communication for web3.

First I'll say that last week felt like a big one here at XMTP Labs. We experienced our first major change to the team since inception—a further refining of the shape of the team we're looking to build. While team departures are always very hard, I'm appreciative of how adaptable everyone seems to be. Further, it's clear that the group that we've assembled here is a strong one, and we'll be ready to tackle the challenges ahead of us.
Hi team,
First off, welcome @neekolas to the team this week! He comes to us from Brex.
Team,
Now that we've got a couple of weeks behind us of what feels like strong alignment and focus, this week it's important that we take stock in the state of things. We need to understand where we're at vs. our goals, and what it's going to take to achieve them within an ambitious but realistic timeframe. It'll be good to regroup this week and express any short-term concerns we may have about getting our SDK out and seeing developers build on it before end of February.
Hey team,
Last week was my favorite week since we started XMTP. It felt different. Not because it's a new year and some New Year's Resolutions we wanted to change or something. Mostly, because it felt like we were all focused, executing, making things happen, and working together.
Hey team, welcome to 2022! We’ll keep this one short and sweet as we’re just now getting back into the swing of things into the new year.
Hey all,
Really excited with how we're closing out the year here and going into our last week of work before the holiday break. The last few weeks have felt mega productive and that we've really been finding the direction that we needed to hit the ground running hard come the next year. We're seeing more and more demand for messaging in web3, and interest everywhere for a decentralized back-end. All of the ingredients for a very interesting year in 2022 seem to be in place.
Hey everyone,
Last week felt like a real clarity week. Thanks to everyone for working together to get aligned and pushing ahead.
Hey team,
Filling in for Matt this week who had some house things to handle this weekend.
I’ll speak for all of us when I say, thanks to everyone for one of the most collaborative weeks we’ve had since XMTP started. All of us come from different backgrounds, places, and work environments so spending time figuring out what works for us is so critical in these early days. The most important thing is to keep being proactive in communicating to each other what we think works, what doesn’t work, and suggestions on what to change.
Hey team!
First off, welcome Saul and Martin to the team. It’s awesome to add more horsepower to our product and eng org.
