Hey team, welcome to 2022! We’ll keep this one short and sweet as we’re just now getting back into the swing of things into the new year.
If XMTP’s 2021 was all about planning, hiring, decisions, raising, etc. then this year is all about execution. We’ve worked our way through many months of planning to be as close to sure that we’re heading down the right path, and this is our time to see that path through. The “best laid plans” are nothing without showing something for it, and our budding community is champing at the bit for it.
Last year saw incredible demand for web3 messaging and we saw one solution launched after another. Each launch was met with excitement and enthusiasm. Each one was just half of the story though—a front-end that could lead to many fragmented conversations across many back-ends. But we know that everyone building their own solutions is not the future—handing developers the seeds they need to build within one network and a common inbox is the promise of XMTP—something we can deliver on in Q1.
I’m so proud of the team that we’ve built so far, and very excited for the opportunity that lay in front of us. Let’s get at it. 📬 🚀
