Team,
Now that we've got a couple of weeks behind us of what feels like strong alignment and focus, this week it's important that we take stock in the state of things. We need to understand where we're at vs. our goals, and what it's going to take to achieve them within an ambitious but realistic timeframe. It'll be good to regroup this week and express any short-term concerns we may have about getting our SDK out and seeing developers build on it before end of February.

As founders, it's @shanemac and I's responsibility to make sure that everyone has what they need to achieve their potential, as well as addressing anything that might be negatively affecting that potential. Over the weekend, a great clip popped up from someone that Shane and I both respect a bunch—Kat Cole. In it she talks about identifying the things that "Makes My Day Difficult." Here's the clip: https://twitter.com/gregisenberg/status/1482363965422329857
So this week let's think about all of the things that make our days difficult—anything goes. For things that make sense to share among the group, let's bring them to light if they haven't already been. For things that should be shared privately, let's get in a 1:1 with either myself or Shane, and work through it. Whatever might be making things difficult, it's important that we get some transparency on them so that we might help unblock each other. 💪
I also wanted to say how awesome it was to watch all of the activity here in Discourse last week—this place felt electric. It was such a good example of how much we can accomplish while still being default-async. @shanemac and I are also going to share some thinking that we've been doing around communication—both within the company, and externally with the community.

Crypto industry news
- OpenSea competitor LooksRare launched, along with its $LOOKS token [link]
- Really thought it was cool how they did an airdrop specifically to OpenSea users based on their transaction volume, and then encouraged those users to stake the airdrop for protocol rewards from trading fees on the platform
- fees.wtf launched a token called $WTF which then was subject to a pretty crazy liquidity attack [link]
