Full steam ahead!
Last week really felt like we were hitting a stride in both our work, and our discussions as a company. Digging in and thinking through our hiring process, as well as some of the technical discussions, are showing some positive early indicators of our communication and decision-making process. It's encouraging that almost all of the hiring discussion happened asynchronously, with lots of thoughtful…no pun intended…discourse along the way.

Really exciting week as we welcome @snormore to the team and attended one of our first conferences after going public. Things really feel like they're starting to pick up and feel very real. We've got a long road ahead of us, but it feels so incredible to really get going on this journey together.

Hello XMTP investors new and also not-as-new-but-not-old. It's with great excitement that we share our September update, which starts with having closed our $20M Series A.
The feedback to the news was great. We had over 900k impressions on Twitter + thousands of inbound messages for recruiting, partnerships, and people wanting to early invest in our future token. Thanks to everyone who helped to promote and share our news, it’s safe to say that people really believe and want to see this idea in the world.

I couldn’t be more excited about the momentum we’re kick this week off with. Soon we’ll be adding our sixth team member (Steven), and kicking off development of the protocol. Last week’s meetings that we had as a team really started to feel like we’re gelling into our mission, and our teamwork.

Well here we are mid-way through the next week and I'm only just now getting this out for the previous week! Safe to say that's not the way we want to do this, so that's my bad!

What a week. We have officially closed our Series A round.
Hey everyone, so great to kick off this week with a ton of energy. The industry as a whole seems to be firing on all cylinders, and it feels like here at XMTP we're ready to do the same. This week we'll close our $20M Series A (whoa), which will set us on a whole new trajectory to knock this project out of the park.
